Party-giver Joe Fiore and his Dance:208 celebrated the holiday season in style, at the LGBT Community Center, in Manhattan, on December 18, with a festive dance billed as "Twinkle." Sharon White, making her Dance:208 debut, served as DJ.

There were Santas and elves, colorful in their red caps, aplenty. Flaggers and fanners, male and female, with their colorful cloth accountrements, added to the merriment. Rollerena, not in drag, put in an appearance. She will preside over the "Studio 54 Dance" on April 23, 2011.

Relive the 1980s--Madonna, anyone?--at the next event in the Dance:208 series, the "'80s Dance," on January 15. Tickets are $8 in advance, on line at www.gaycenter.org, and $10 at the door. The Center is located at 208 West 13th Street, between Seventh and Greenwich Avenues.
