SPOOX was the name of Paul Short, Mike Peyton and DJ Rich King's wild Halloween night event at the Eagle NYC bar and an erotic S & M dance performance, song, a costume contest, and a 'creepy crawly' room were featured. DJ Rich provided most of the evening's music.
The dancers of NEWD-Stephen C., Brooklyn Mike, and Matty-wearing black leather boots and jocks, with strap-ons, were joined by porn stars Jake Deckerd and Cory Coons for a midnight performance, billed as "Dawn of the Dildos," that found Deckerd chained to a St. Andrew's cross and, later, enacting a golden shower scene with Matty, who sported a noose around his neck. |

Dancers and audience were serenaded by the men of NEKKED-JC and Sinn-with "Strange Beautiful People," combining "When You're Strange" and "Beautiful People," and "Ashes to Ashes."

Paul hosted the costume contest, in which judges Honey Dijon, DJ Gustavo, and the current Mr. Eagle, Peter Schwartz, selected Tony, dressed as if about to step into the boxing ring, as the winner; "Evil Frosty," the snowman, the runner-up; and "Wolfie"-theater and Cherry Grove's Ricky-the second runner-up. A sailor, Robin Hood, a gladiator, and a devilish Dennis the Menace were among the other contenders.
Paul also ushered people into the 'creepy crawly' funhouse, in which bodies came to life or appeared out of nowhere, and disembodied hands made advances.
New York's fairy godmother, Rollerena, the LGBT Community Center's Joe Fiore, wearing a gypsy headdress, and party giver Maxson Scott, as a satyr, were among those in attendance.
